Dr. M. Prabhakar Rao is the Chairman of the NSL group and the Managing Director of NSL Seeds (Nuziveedu Seeds Limited), the largest seed company in India. Dr. M. Prabhakar Rao is the scion of a reputed agricultural family, hailing from Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh. He has an equally commendable educational background, being an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, where he ranked second in the University in B.Sc. (Agriculture) and first in M.Sc. (Agriculture). He is also a recipient of the Gold Medal and Merit Scholarship during post-graduation. After completion of his education in 1982, following in his father's footsteps, he took up the family-managed seed company.
He is a member of the Cotton Advisory Board constituted by the Textile Ministry. He was a member of Central Seed Certification Board for two terms. At present, he is in the Governing board of Acharya N.G. Rangha Agriculture University, Andhra Pradesh. He provides valuable guidance to the team with his exceptional knowledge in the areas of cotton growing, quality, trading and pricing.
Dr. M. Prabhakar Rao has always been at the forefront in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and has established a charitable trust, Mandava Foundation, which plays a key role in the development of Rural India by contributing to the sectors of education, health care, agricultural productivity initiatives, etc.
Mrs. Asha Priya holds a postgraduate degree in Home Science. She secured the first rank in the University in M.Sc. (Child Development) in 1984. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and Kuchipudi Dance. She has to her credit an enviable experience of over 20 years in seed production and marketing.
In addition to her interest in supporting the rural poor in the fields of Education, Health and Rural Development, she has a keen eye on Heritage Preservation in the country. She has provided timely support on many occasions to ancient forms of dances, arts, and spiritual centres, etc. Being very sympathetic towards economically backward young girls in rural areas, she actively supports the development of vocational training centres to help the young girls.
Mr. M. Venkatram Chowdary did his Business Management Certificate in Finance from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), US. Also, he holds a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Amity University, Noida. He did a brief stint with NSL Textiles during 2008-10, before going to the US to pursue his Business Management Certification.
Hailing from a well-known business family in Andhra Pradesh, India, Mr. M. Venkatram Chowdary inherits business acumen and has been providing dynamic leadership to NSL Group's textiles business arm through his association with the company since 2011, in various capacities such as Director, Whole-time Director, and Managing Director with effect from 16.03.2016. He also serves as the Managing Director of Mandava Holding Private Limited and as a Director in eight other Group companies.
Mr. Ch. Appa Rao is a Commerce Graduate and Fellow of the Indian Institute of Insurance and has more than 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry in Senior Management positions.
As an able administrator, he joined Nuziveedu Seeds Limited and has coordinated for successful implementation of various projects of the NSL Group. He is fully involved in the operations of the existing Units and implementation of the Company's projects, particularly in areas like Administration, Coordination, and Liaisoning with various Government departments and agencies.
Dr. Malakondaiah Mannam, a 1985 batch IPS Officer, retired as Director General of Police of Andhra Pradesh. Before his appointment as DGP of Andhra Pradesh, he was working as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of APSRTC.
He held the positions of SP of the Vigilance Cell and DG of Civil Supplies department, Group Commander, Grey Hounds, Jt. Managing Director, Vigilance and Security AP Transco, IGP Police Transport Organisation, Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Director, AP Police Academy and Telangana State Police Academy, Joint Director, Additional Director, Director, and DG, ACB Govt. of AP during different periods.
Mr. M. Narasimham holds a postgraduate degree (MBA–HR), a bachelor's degree in Commerce, and a Degree in Law (LLB). He has been associated with the Company for the last 18 years and has held various positions in HR, managing the industrial relations of all the units of the Company.
In appreciation of his long stint with the company and to utilize his expertise and skills, the Company has appointed him as Whole-time Director of the Company with effect from 10.06.2024. He has 33 years of work experience and has worked with companies like Priyadarshini Spinning Mills, Vijaya Lakshmi Spintex Ltd., and Vasantha Spinners, among others.
Mr. Prem Malik, who is known as the doyen of the Textiles Industry, is currently running a Management Consultancy in Textiles and is also engaged in textile exports. He is a postgraduate from Punjab University and has over five decades of experience in the textiles and clothing industry.
During his distinguished career, he has held top management positions and served as Executive Director on the main boards of M/s. Mafatlal Fine Spinning & Manufacturing Company Limited and M/s. Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited. He has also served on the main boards of several leading textile companies and has been actively associated with various textile organizations. He is currently the Chairman of the Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA), Mumbai, and a Member/Director of the Textile Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. He has also served as Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) and as Vice Chairman of the India ITME Society. In addition, he is a Past Chairman of the Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (Texprocil) and a Past Vice Chairman of the Synthetic Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC).
Mr. M. Vishnuvardhana Rao is an IPS officer from the 1987 batch, allocated to Jharkhand cadre, and retired as Director General of Police of Jharkhand. He originally hails from Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Regional Engineering College, Warangal (now NIT Warangal).
He joined the Indian Police Service in the 1987 batch, Jharkhand cadre, and held the position of Director General of Fire Services and Home Guards before being entrusted with the additional charge of DGP, Jharkhand, on 17 March 2020. As DGP, he emphasized improving public trust in policing, with a focus on the safety of children, women, and senior citizens, and promised strict action against any instances of corruption within the force. He also highlighted the capabilities of the "Jharkhand Jaguar" unit to tackle Naxalism. In May 2022, he was appointed Administrator of the NRI Academy of Sciences at Chinakakani, Andhra Pradesh, assumed charge on 16 May 2022, and acts as the sole Administrator and authorized signatory.
